Jamie
continues to paint from the back of her Ford pickup truck.
She also works from her canoe and from afoot hiking with
her dog. A long running series is the John Deere Series
that Jamie sketches from the seat of their John Deere 4030
haying tractor. Many modes of transport take her to secluded
places with unique views that allow for fresh plein air
paintings. In the spring of this year Jamie was accepted
into the Copley Society of Art In Boston, Massachusetts.
She has been painting small pieces for the Small Works Shows.

2005
Jamie took this year to build exhibits and
continue her series on the Leeside
Farm.
The Deer Trail is a large piece (5 X 5 feet) done from sketches
of an actual deer trail in a swampy area of her farm. Each
large painting has many smaller studies to accompany it.
The Cow Trail Series continued
her theme of dark fear and the light of healing.
The Oak Leaves is another large painting with studies recently
completed.
In total this year Jamie has 25 new paintings that will
be shown in upcoming exhibits.
2004
Jamie is currently working on the new Pocumtuck Series. She recently completed its signature piece, a 4’x10’ oil on panel titled “Mount Sugarloaf, Winter 1704” that was commissioned by Historic Deerfield and will hang in the visitors’ center during the 300th anniversary year of the Deerfield Raid. She has a dozen smaller paintings from the area around Mount Sugarloaf completed.
